Vision, Mission, & Core Values
VISION: Family Life Church’s vision is to create safe, authentic environments for people to connect with Jesus.
MISSION: Family Life Church is committed to the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20) and exists to make disciples who Connect with God, Grow spiritually, and Serve people.
CORE VALUES: (not in level of importance)
Christ - Centered
Scripture is our focus and authority. We believe eternal value is not a trend or temporary style.
2. Multigenerational
From babies to grandparents, we will minister to the whole family and value each age and stage.
3. Community Focused
We are believers actively serving our community - we intentionally program opportunities to serve outside the four walls of our building.
4. Simple
We are intentional with our time and events - we prayerfully consider what God is calling us to do and do it well. We can’t and shouldn’t do everything.
5. Authentic
We will keep it real, never fake - no one is perfect. We recognize that Jesus is our example, and we are all in process. We commit to being candid and transparent.
6. Missions Minded
We will support Missions efforts both locally and around the world through strategic ministry partners, with our prayers and finances.
What We Believe
We believe in God’s Word, the Bible, and its unending truth to mankind. We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The Lord Jesus Christ is both God and man and is the only one who can reconcile us to God. Each time we receive communion we remember Jesus lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.
We believe sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives. In order to receive forgiveness, we repent of our sins, believe in Jesus Christ and submit our lives to Him. God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and powerful lives to help others more effectively. In order to live the lives God intends for us, we need to be baptized in water, set our mind on Him and His purpose, and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.
We believe God has individually equipped us and corporately gathered us as His living body so that we can successfully embrace His purpose for our lives, which is to worship Him, strengthen the Church, and share the Gospel with our community.
We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised and will rule and reign on this earth. History will conclude as the wicked are judged and the righteous enter His new heaven and earth.
