The Men’s Ministry of Family Life Church leads a monthly ministry to the homeless under the Burnside Bridge in Portland. This ministry is open to anyone that is interested, not just men. Every person will be involved in various area of ministry. Some areas you can be involved in are cutting hair, footwashing, handing out food, handing out clothing and giving out Bibles. There are also other ways to serve.
On the first Thursday of every month we leave the church at 6:00 pm and are back to the church by 10:30 pm. We link with Bridgetown Ministries that has ministered to the homeless under the Burnside Bridge for many years. Please watch the orientation video before coming on the first Thursday of each month.
